I guess I'm relying on my Plan B now .. 😱
So one of my planned gym locations didn’t pan out.
The tennis club one.
They weren’t open on Boxing Day 😔
Damn.
So my hopes are riding on the other one today.
The bodybuilding one.
Which I definitely know is open.
And do day passes.
Result.
So I’m going later on.
🤪

If I remember back to when I first started going to the gym.
Aged 17-18 or so.
Skinny as hell.
Taking it semi-seriously.
I always disliked how I couldn’t train over Christmas
I wanted to go to the gym.
But basically wasn’t allowed to 😂
Thanks society.
I was on either on holidays from school.
Or from University.
Had plenty of time on my hands at home..
And naturally wanted to fill that time up with training.
Some of that feeling is still there
Not entirely.
But some of it.
A few days off the gym are cool.
You can rest
Don’t worry about training
Enjoy eating & drinking cr*p
But after 4 or so rest days.
I start to get restless 😂
>>
Similar to the whole food thing ..
Yeah it’s fun to eat like a pig for a few days.
Treat your stomach like a garbage disposal unit 🤭
But after a bit ..
You start craving your usual healthy routine.
For me.
Around about today is when I start getting itchy feet.
The day after the day after Boxing Day
I won’t go full-on ‘normal routine’ mode.
Course not.
But a few things ..
Doing more exercise
Not eating as much junk
Drinking more water (omg this one)
More vegetables
Less alcohol (probably no need to booze allll the time atm)
Ciao ✌️
