We’re in the 20s already for December.
Where did this month go?
And tbh all the other 11 months with it.
Although ..
Not sure about you.
But for SOME reason.
This week feels like it’s dragging on.
And on ..
Anyone else get that atm?
Feels like it should be at least Friday by now.
Maybe even Saturday.
Probably that pre-Christmas deep breath in.

I’m going to be away for next week.
Dw - I’ll still do some emails if I can.
And I’ve sorted out a couple of gyms I can go to.
Perfect.
Honestly ..
Not because I’m scared of losing muscle if I don’t train for a week.
(probably wouldn’t happen anyway)
Or that getting back into it in January will be so much harder if I completely take time off.
But because:
-> I genuinely enjoy training
-> Exercise makes you feel good. No one can argue with that.
And I want to feel good(ish) next week
-> Trying out different gyms/environments is fun. New machines, different people, a change in the training vibe - it’s all positive
-> Gives me a break from my family for a couple of hours at least 😂
-> Anything to get you out of the house next week is an overall win, I think

One of the gyms is in a Tennis club, down in Hampshire.
Which I’ve been to before.
Pretty good.
They’ve renovated it recently.
Super small but OK equipment.
Dumbbells go up to 30kg or so, and some decent leg machines.
That’s all you need tbh.
I’m 99% sure I’ll be the only one in there.
Just have to find a way to get around the whole ‘we don’t do day passes’ thing.

The other gym is one I haven’t been to before.
Looks like a hardcore, warehouse-style bodybuilding gym on an industrial estate in Gloucestershire.

So I’m going to check it out.
I won’t blend in, but pretty sure I’ll be able to train hard there.
The 2 gyms could not be any more polar opposites 😂
But I’m going to be all for it.
