So I juuuust managed to squeeze in my last session before Christmas.
This morning.
Before driving down south for a few days.
ngl ..
I did about 32 minutes of legs then had to rush back from the gym.
As I had a tight morning schedule.
And wanted to beat the Saturday morning ‘escape from London’ traffic.
(I think that’s just part & parcel of training this time of year. You cram it in whenever you can)
Was it a world-beating session?
No
Did I hit any PBs?
No
Did I do any big compound lifts?
… nope
Did I train muscle groups that were already sore?
Yup
Was it overall worth it?
I think so
Glad I did

There’s that saying isn’t there:
“You never regret doing a workout”
Which is actually BS 🤭
I can think of plentyyyy of workouts I’ve regretted in the past.
Mostly done when I wasn’t feeling 100%.
With the workout making my condition worse.
So.
They should replace never with “rarely” tbh.
“Unless you’re seriously unwell .. or missing the birth of your child ..you’ll rarely regret doing a workout”
Today wasn’t one of those exceptions, though.
Luckily😂
Glad I did it.
Even if ..

And will just be doing some walks instead.
