7 useful pointers (keep reading)
Alexa has classic FM pumping out the bangers this morning.
I’ve just done a bit of furniture rearranging.
And now settling down for this email.

I’m 2x training sessions into the post-Christmas comeback …
Never an easy time to get back into it.
But I think the sooner you do the better.
By this time next week.
When all the “start in January” punters are clogging up the gym.
I’ll be well & truly on my way.
So here are a few thoughts:
-> January probably isn’t PB time. The aim of your first few sessions back is to ease into training. Not smash records.
-> Warm up for longer than normal. You haven’t moved much the last week or two, so don’t rush into it.
-> Another aim is to get back on it WITHOUT getting injured. You want to avoid this at all costs.
-> Remember. You train to build muscle & get stronger. Not to burn energy.
-> The wheel doesn’t need to be reinvented. Ferrari doesn’t do it when they release a new car which sells out on pre-order to their existing customers … so neither do you need to find “new” exercises to do.
-> Showing up isn’t 90% of the battle … but you can’t train if you don’t go to the gym. You NEED to go 3x a week at least.
-> You don’t need to follow a program for the first week or two back … but you will do after that.
Happy Training 🥳
Harry
