Does this apply to you?
When your working starts to feel ‘good’.
Enjoyable.
Then you’re onto something.
I’m talking like.
You finish your set
And think:
“Wow, that feels so good on X muscle group”
Until you get to that stage.
You’ll probably have to suck it up.
And push through the phase.
(Literally)
Because when your working sets feel nice.
You’ll start to enjoy your training more.
Because you enjoy your training more.
You then don’t miss an activity you enjoy.
So you train more.
You don’t skip sessions.
You start to really nail the consistency.
And because you’re training more.
And more consistent.
You get even better at it.
Making results easier to come by.
It all snowballs … basically.
But you have to put in the hard work first.

My pressing movements didn’t start to feel good until I had a few years of training under my belt.
Years.
Hundreds of training sessions.
Thousands of sets.
Tens of thousands of reps.
Then I started enjoying my pressing exercises.
Until then, they felt kinda awkward for me.
And my sets weren’t enjoyable.
Fast forward to now - I sometimes look forward to hitting chest 😅
Have a good weekend.
Harry
