Had a wild one yesterday
One of the worst nights’ sleep EVER last night.
A weird shoulder/arm injury that has been bubbling along for the last few weeks at about a 1/10.
Suddenly decided to ramp itself up to a 9/10.
At 9 pm.
And keep me up all night.
Being a front/side sleeper.
I must have tossed & turned about 800 times in the night.
On the plus side …
Probably burnt a few extra calories doing that 😂

And it's given me a good reminder.
Not to ignore niggles when they surface.
Because even when you think it’s nothing to worry about.
Fast forward a few weeks, months …
Sometimes even years.
They can get worse.
Then forcing you to take some time off.
Better to tackle the problem early on when it’s small.
Rather than leave it till later on when it’s grown.

I could have easily tweaked my training program a few months ago.
Avoiding movements that gave me a small amount of discomfort.
Then I would have avoided last night.
But I didn’t.
And I’m now paying the price.
>
Anyhow.
First world problems.
Be careful out there.
