I bet you didn't see this coming ... ๐ณ
Trying to contain my stereotypically British desire to talk about the weather here.
I lasted about 3 minutes.
Typed out about 50 words on another topic …
Was tempted to carry on.
But …
I just couldn’t ๐
Saved that email for another (rainy) day.
And doing an email on what’s on everyone's mind.
โ๏ธ๐ง๐ฆ
The monsoon engulfing London this morning.
And surprise surprise.
Gym pretty quiet.
The OG regulars showed up.
The people that come in regardless.
Literally.
And obviously me & my client.
>
And here’s the thing.
Shoot me if I’m being a bit harsh and blunt here …
But I think if you use the weather as an excuse not to go to the gym …
E.g.
When it rains, you don’t go.
When it’s too hot, you don’t go.
When it’s a bit depressing at 4 pm on a Thursday and you don’t fancy training after work. Head home instead.
Then you don’t DESERVE to be in shape.
Yup.
You don’t deserve that reward.
Because why should you …?
I wouldn’t expect to earn money without showing up to work.
So you shouldn’t expect to have that fit, athletic, lean, muscular, sexy body if you don’t hit the gym regularly.
>
Because being in shape is a reward.
> A reward for hard work.
> A reward for consistency day in, day out.
> A reward for showing up, even when you don’t feel like it.
So naturally …
If you don’t do any of those things.
And throw the towel in at your earliest convenience.
Then you deserve to be OUT of shape.
See you tomorrow ๐คฉ
Harry
