What's the most popular fitness class in London?
There isn’t really a ‘superior’ form of cardio.
That is better than all the others.
Your friend who lost 5kg after starting Barrys will say otherwise.
But generally speaking.
They mostly all do the same thing.
Burn energy, improve your fitness & make you feel good afterwards.
Comparing one activity to another.
(Assuming you’re using cardio as a general fitness/energy burning too)
As it should be more or less.
> Yoga versus Pilates
> Boxing versus Stair Master
> Barrys versus Soul Cycle
It boils down to which one you PREFER doing.
Someone asked me what I thought about skipping yesterday.
(The skipping crowd obviously LOVE it & thinks it’s the all, end all for fat loss)
“Great if you like skipping .. but it doesn’t have any magical fat loss properties”
>
What DOES have magical fat loss properties?
Controlling your food intake on a regular basis for several weeks & months.
Boring I know.
But that’s what you need to focus on.
And what’s the best form of cardio?
If you really must do it?
(Which you don’t btw)
The one you can do consistently for several weeks & months.
That could be whatever you fancy doing.
For 99% of us?
An easy, straightforward option is walking.
As you can fit that into a normal lifestyle.
You don’t need to formally schedule them.
Running errands
Commuting
Walking around the house whilst on the phone
Taking the dog out
Etc.
Without having to do a class or session.
“Get your steps in”
Have a good one 🥳
