Did I get this right?
Now the clocks have gone back.
It properly feels like we’re in the “run up” till Christmas.
Lighter mornings which feel incredible.
Puts you in a good mood.
Especially when the sun comes out to play.
>
Lunchtimes which still feel pretty normal.
As long as it’s not pouring.
>
Thennnn the 4 pm blackout …
/ that ready to start winding down for the night feeling.
Not ideal.
Especially if you’re someone that likes to get their steps in after work.
>
It means we’ve got 1 month of normal routine left.
No Christmas parties.
No Winterwonderland madness.
Not too much burnout.
Then that’s basically it until January.
(Talking fat loss, clean living, training regularly etc)
I personally don’t end up taking December off training or anything.
But I’m also not going to multiple office parties/dinners 3-4 times a week in the lead-up to Christmas.
It seems bizarre that some PTs do fall off the wagon.
Especially if they’re at the gym the whole time π
>
So basically you’ve got to make each of these next few weeks count.
Knuckle down.
Get some good momentum built up so you can hit December in a GOOD place.
With your training at least.
Then come month 12.
You can at least put the extra calories to good use and hit some PBs.
Before bringing in the New Year.
Have a good Mondayπ€
