I'm a part time Deliveroo driver now đ
Drove a scooter for the first time this morning.
Fed up with relying on TFLđ
And even though it was an automatic.
(So in theory easy to ride âŚor easier than a manual)
It was totally alien to me.
And properly outside my comfort zone.
>
Reminded me of what itâs like training for the first time.
Soooo many things to think about.
Itâs like you KNOW what you need to do.
But doing it in practice is totally different.
-> Your proprioception is completely off.
-> You donât have any muscle memory yet - itâs all new.
-> Your concentration levels are completely maxed out.
Itâs exhausting đ
>
And it takes time.
Time practising.
Learning the movements.
Making mistakes
(⌠I didnât fall off donât worry)
And generally becoming more comfortable with it.
>
Same goes for dieting too.
Remember your first week properly âdoingâ a fat loss diet âŚ
Itâs hard work at the start, right?
Tracking on Myfitnesspal
Doing a bit of meal prep
NOT having Deliveroo when you usually do
Going a bit hungry
Itâs tough.
But then it gets easier over time.
As you adjust to it.
And practice it more.
My 2 cents
Have a great evening đĽ
