This one holds everyone back ... except me 😂🤷♂️
So now that my “training deload” is done.
(Body is feeling MUCH better btw, thanks for asking 😅)
I’m eyeing up the next few days where I’ll probably not train.
And give the body another rest
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
… maybe the day after that, who knows.
(Definitely train on Christmas Eve - working day & all that)
So in my head, I’m thinking that I’ve got another full month left.
Of the year.
To try and hit some PBs.
Make some 0.0001% gains
And generally not give in to the year-end slob.
>
And I’m promising myself I won’t fall into the BIGGEST trap in achieving that.
Which ISN’T:
How many reps you do
What exercises you do
What order you do them in
What your tempo is
It’s skipping sessions.
Not training.
Even if you train perfectly.
Every set to failure
Optimal exercises for your body structure
Always keeping tension on the muscle, the whole time
If you don’t go to the gym you can’t do any of that 😂
So it’s the number 1 thing to avoid.
>
If you can leap over that hurdle.
You give yourself a chance of getting stuff done.
Happy FRIDAY.
