I'm off 🥳
Escaping London for an afternoon.
Typing this on a packed-out train from Victoria.
Spending a good few minutes staring out at the rooftops of Clapham.
Trying to find an idea for an email.
Whilst everyone around me smashes their sandwiches & full-fat cokes.
(Tiny bit jealous of them if I’m honest)
And the likelihood of any of this getting tracked on MFP is probably low 😂
So here’s a thought.
We all bury our heads in the sand when it comes to how many calories we consume.
It always ends up being more than we think.
Or would like.
And we wishfully think that we burn more calories than we do.
12k steps burns a good bit of energy.
(Depending on how much you weigh etc)
But it’s not going to be as much as a calorie-loaded meal deal.
Nowhere near.

We purposefully eat more than we need to - survive.
At the same time.
Also deliberately conserve energy by not moving as much as we could - survival.
Losing fat goes against our natural instincts.
That’s why it is so difficult.
(Even I find it so)
And why MOST people are out of shape.
Because it’s too easy to be.

Have a good one 🤙
