A useful thing to remember for January.
Apart from paying your tax bill.
Is that you can still lose body fat …
Whilst not having a great diet.
It just needs to be “good enough”.
Most of the time.
And actually …
You can still lose the Christmas pounds.
Even if your diet sucks.
Think about it like this.
-> Still consuming a fair amount of junk food?
As long as you’re in a weekly deficit, you’ll lose fat
-> Not consuming enough protein?
As long as it’s over 100g if you’re a guy and 50g if you’re a woman (huge generalisation here, but thought I’d pluck some numbers up), you’ll be fine
-> Steps low because it rains non-stop?
Fine as long as you’re in a deficit. You can lose fat doing 5k steps a day
-> Not consuming enough fruit & veg, so your fibre intake is low?
You won’t die. You can still lose fat.

You can speed things up by doing all the right things.
Nailing XYZ all the time.
But we all have bad days.
Weeks.
Just remember that your efforts just need to tip you over the finish line.
