First Monday of the year.
Let’s talk diet.
Here are a few pointers.
To bear in mind:
-> First off, you don’t need to do anything crazy / super aggressive.
Reducing alcohol consumption, junk food and drinking more water will probably do the trick for the first week.
Think about it like this.
You want to have a good Q1 (3 months).
Not just a good Week 1.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
-> Second, tracking might sound like a bore/lots of effort.
But it actually makes your life EASIER.
Setting up your Sat Nav in your car before a long journey is a bit of a faff.
You input the postcode.
It takes a few seconds to load that up.
Works out a couple of routes for you to choose from.
You pick one.
Etc.
Yes, it’s slightly faffy.
But the alternative is to just wing it.
And you probably won’t arrive at your destination.
(Assuming it’s somewhere you haven’t been before)
So download Myfitnesspal & use it.
-> Lastly, go for meals. Not snacks.
You know what?
It’s a WHOLE lot easier if you just don’t snack.
Yup.
Get snacking out of your vocabulary.
Don’t have them.
And have larger, proper, protein & vegetable-rich meals instead.
3x meals is a good number.
Remember when I said you don’t need to reinvent the wheel?
“But I can’t find good snack options which have a lot of protein, that aren’t dairy-based”
That’s because there are none 😂
“But what shall I have when I’m on the go and can’t eat a meal?”
Don’t eat for a few hours then
“But I don’t have time to cook full meals”
