It’s similar to dieting.
You can spend 95% of your week doing all the right things …
Making the right food choices
Exercising self-control
Swerving alcohol
Getting up early to hit the gym
Tracking on MFP
And if that remaining 5% is ‘bad’ enough …
On a Friday or Saturday night.
Takeaway followed by ice cream.
Or just a big night out.
You finish the week in a small surplus.
Big enough to UNDO all your hard work you did.
It can be brutal.
And can totally mess up your mood.

But right now.
Mid-December.
Probably isn’t the time to be zoning in on your fat loss efforts.
(Unless you REALLY want to of course)
But something to bear in mind for Jan.
When invariably.
Fat loss conditions are more favourable.
