Some sore heads this morning
The gym is ALWAYS quiet the morning after the Super Bowl night.
Guaranteed to get yourself a Squat rack if you head in this morning.
And in actual fact, the same goes for most Monday mornings.
When it comes to Squat Rack availability.
Because here’s the TYPICAL routine that most commercial gym-goers will do.
This is based on what I’ve seen in commercial gyms over the years.
And is probably pretty accurate.
>
Monday - Chest mainly. Otherwise upper body
Tuesday - Back. Sometimes legs, but still mostly upper body
Wednesday - Legs mainly here. If they’ve already done them on Tuesday, it’ll be shoulders or arms
Thursday - If they’ve made it this far, and haven’t stopped for the week, it’ll be something upper body. Probably a mix of chest & back.
Friday - 95% chance of upper body, if they make it in. Most people will be working from home here though, so will use the gym closer to home.
Saturday - Olympic lifting / barbell / plyometrics / random Youtube exercises. Basically, all the exercises people should NOT be doing - they do them on Saturday
Sunday - dead, no-one in.

If you’re being smart, which you are if you’re reading my emails.
Then to MAXIMISE your gym time.
You pretty much want to do the complete opposite of what everyone else does here.
Legs on Monday & Friday.
Machines on Saturday.
Etc.
As these exercises/areas will be pretty free on those days.
Unlike trying to bench press on a Monday lunchtime (good luck finding one btw).
Little tip for you.
Happy Monday 🥳
Harry
