When would you stop ...?
Good morning Monday.
New week & all that.
West End looking pretty Christmassy already.
And we’re into the last couple of weeks of Autumn.
🎅
Was asked the other day by a client.
“At what point would you stop training?”
“How old will you be?”
And to be honest with you.
I have thought about this before.
And as long as I’m relatively able-bodied …
And I could manage it.
Doctor hasn’t put me off games or anything.
And climate change hasn’t completely destroyed the planet by 2071.
I wouldn’t.
Retire from training …?
Imagine losing those gains you’ve spent 30, 40, 50+ years building.
All that progress.
It’d be like losing an 18,250-day meditation streak.
I don’t think I’d be able to just stop & let go.
Would you?
What would you do with all the extra time?
Because I assume that if you’ve retired from training.
Hung up your boots.
You’ve probably retired from working too.
>
It’s a funny one.
I don’t see a lot of 70-year-olds in the gym.
But maybe that’ll change in years to come.
Have an awesome Monday 💥
Harry
