Yup ... I found this difficult this morning
If you’ve ever done walking lunges properly.
Good technique
Relatively heavy
16-20 steps per set
3-4 sets
You’ll know what I’m talking about here.
The DOMS you get on these …
Like NOTHING else.
Honestly.
It’s a deeeeep muscle ache. Not just on the surface. Deep down.
Feels like almost your bones are sore.
Right through to the core.
And if you haven’t done them in your program for a while …
Rotating them back in.
And THEN do them.
Wow.
The soreness is even worse.
I struggled to tie my shoelaces this morning 😂
It was that bad.

You just don’t get it on other exercises in the same way.
Squats, legs presses, leg extensions.
Just not the same.
Maybe it’s the higher reps that does it.
Not too sure.
But that’s where I’m at at the moment.

And gearing up for the 2nd.
Making it 52/52* this year.
As you should be aiming to do too
*Probably the biggest key for making muscle-building progress. Not skipping weeks.
