I'm quitting training ... for now 🤦♂️
So I’m totally off my own training this week.
Not even doing my usual morning pushups.
Trying to do nothing.
Zero / minimal physical stress.
Taking a complete rest until next Monday.
(On some antibiotics & don’t want to sabotage their good work)
The only silver lining.
Being that I’ve found an extra 1h in my day.
That I never normally have.
>
But I really do miss it.
I’m finding those workout videos popping up on my Instagram.
That I usually never pay any attention to.
Suddenly seem WAY more inviting than usual.
“Man … he’s so lucky he gets to do bench press”
>
But sometimes, and definitely in my case right now.
You have to take 1 or 2 steps back in the short term.
So you can take more steps forward in the long term.
I’m sure you can relate.
>
It also feels like a MASSIVE waste of an opportunity going to the gym.
Training my clients.
And NOT training myself …
Surely that’s one of the perks of being a PT.
Is that it's mega easy to get your own training in regularly.
But alas.
I’m going to carry on being ‘sensible’ and take it easy.
See you tomorrow 💥😎
Harry
