I probably know what you're searching on Google 🤯
My love-hate affair with the Hack Squat continues today.
At 11ish.
After I’ve waded through a few emails.
It’s been 6 years now.
February 2018 when it started.
But we haven’t seen each other for 2-3 weeks.
I can already tell that I’ll be feeling it tomorrow.
She does tend to have that effect 🤭

So I ..
Like almost everyone who trains ..
This week.
Will probably end up being sore as hell from the gym.
Because ..
Soreness happens when you do something new
Basically.
You train regularly ..
Doing similar exercises week on week
With a similar amount of volume/intensity
= you WON’T get that sore
Because you’re giving your muscles a different stimulus each time.
You don’t train for a week or two ..
Then get back into it
Albeit at a lower volume/intensity
= you WILL be sore
Because it’s something different to the norm.
If soreness was a sign of a good workout ..
The first workout you do after some time off would be a good one.
Your first EVER workout you ever did back in 1997 would be even better.
Logically .. no?
But as we know ..
That’s not the case.
>>
I’ll get sore today from doing a workout containing LESS volume than usual.
So don’t worry or overthink it.
We’ll all be sore this week.
Big deal.
Next week?
Not so much.
(Unless you change what you’re doing in the gym)
Happy Tues ..
Wednesday 😂✌️
Harry
