I've officially gone off track 😳
My bodyweight is fluctuating all over the place at the moment.
78.4kg yesterday
80.5 today
A 2.1kg change.
And yesterday wasn’t even a crazy day food-wise.
And it’s been like this for the last week or so.
Anyone else getting the same thing?
I can explain.
(I think)
This time of year.
Typically.
It’s difficult/impossible to get ACCURATE bodyweight readings.
Why?
Because food, sleep, activity, drinking habits - all change.

Some days you might be on your usual routine.
Normal food
Normal bedtime
Normal activity habits
With the next day being totally different
Work Xmas party
Barely any sleep (late night)
Food totally different to normal
And that’s why.
Some of my clients are going out every night at the moment.
Christmas parties, drinks, catch-ups, dinners - you name it.
And even then.
They still won’t get accurate morning weigh-ins.

And while I’m not going out NEARLY as much as that.
I’m still eating different things than I normally would.
And so I’m getting +/- 1kg jumps all over the place.
So the take-home:
Keep tracking your AM weight, but really only look at the weekly average.
That smooths out the ups & downs.
