I was shocked when I found this out 🤯
Have you seen those cooking videos on Instagram?
Where they do a “behind the scenes” type thing.
On how they cook certain dishes.
How they prepare it.
How much extra stuff they put in it.
Butter
Oil
Sauces
Sugar
More butter
More Calories
Some of them are nuts.
>
Take toast for example.
I thought they just whacked some bread in a toaster like you do at home.
Then serve.
No no no 😂
It gets toasted in a PAN.
With a fat knob of butter in.
So it gets that golden crisp.
On both sides obvs.
😳
No wonder it tastes so good.
It has 100s of extra calories in.
Compared to if you were just to do the same thing at home.

And the conclusion you come to.
Is when you’re trying to be really ON your diet.
And overall fitness regime …
Home-cooked food hits different.
Wayyyyyy different.
Your digestion feels better
You subsequently have more energy
Your sleep is better
You can keep the calories a lot lower
You take the guesswork out
But it’s difficult to do.
Nowhere near as convenient.
And if you’re busy.
Rushing around.
Then sometimes it feels like it’s your only option.

If that’s the case - use the weekend to get ahead.
Even just doing lunches on Monday & Tuesday can make an impact over time.
Have a good weekend 👋
