So it’s been just over a FULL month since I last did an email like this.
Won’t bore you with why I haven’t been popping up in your inbox lately.
But honestly …
I’ve missed doing them.
So I’m starting them back up again.
They probably won’t be daily.
(Under promising deliberately here)
But whenever I’ve got a few spare minutes.
And want to get something off my chest.

High rep (50+ … lol)
High speed
High momentum
Tiny range of motion
… Ab crunches 🤷♂️

Why & how did this become a thing …?
Totally normalised.
It’s the only exercise/muscle group where doing this is commonplace.
In pretty much every non-hardcore bodybuilding gym.
It makes no sense.
You’d NEVER see it on a pulldown…
Leg curl …
Bench press …
Any other movement.
You just wouldn’t.
People KNOW that it’s not a great idea to stimulate / overload muscle.
But for abdominals … all logic goes out the window.
Chasing the 6 pack.

Grab a dumbbell and do 10x slow reps instead.
Make it challenging
