Max out or Min out? 🥶
Haven’t been this excited to train myself for a long time.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
And maybe I needed the break?
I didn’t think I did.
Last week was pretty painful to do nothing.
But who knows.
All I do know is that I’ll avoid the temptation to rush back into it.
And warm myself back into it.
At least for the first half of the week.
Then we’ll see about the second.

There is quite a large school of thought in the fitness/bodybuilding world.
Which says you should train at the lowest possible volume you can get away with.
Whilst still making progress.
Because if that (process) is the goal.
And you want to be hitting that regularly in the long term.
Then why would you unnecessarily burn yourself out?
Better for your joints not to be pounding them into the ground all the time.
And as long as you’re taking small steps forwards.
There shouldn’t be a problem.

I don’t subscribe to this all the time.
I think there is a “time & a place” for everything.
But I think it has some merit/application.
In any case.
Off to the gym.
