My guide to using THE app ... 👀
Whether you choose to or not.
Your body will be tracking your calories.
And macros.
Because everything you consume has an energy value (kcal).
And it’s A)
either used up as fuel.
Through staying alive, keeping your organs working & activity.
Or B)
it’s stored as excess energy.
Mainly body fat, and some muscle.
Straightforward.
>
Now you probably don’t need to track your intake ALL the time.
12 months a year.
(Unless you really want to)
But when you want to REDUCE your excess stored energy.
… Body fat.
Get leaner.
For a holiday.
Or a general tidy-up.
Then it makes sense to.
Because it’s the easiest option available to you.
>
But on the flip side.
You can still lose it WITHOUT tracking.
…
People were in good shape pre-MFP.
Long before.
But in my opinion.
It makes things MUCH harder not to.
In today’s world.
Because you don’t have that Sat Nav that I keep talking about …
To help you on your way.
Guiding you along the journey.
>
It’s almost like using Myfitnesspal is a LEGIT easier way to do it.
It gamifies losing body fat.
Turns it into a simple equation:
-> Set a protein & calorie target
-> Log your food
-> Do that consistently 7 days a week (or 6, depending on what you’re up to on that other day 😳)
->> And voila
Super simple.
As nutrition should be.
Instead of worrying about meal timing.
Whether you should be fasting or not.
Whether to go high carb or high fat.
You just do what works for you.
And as long as you’re hitting your targets.
Regularly.
And not undoing it all in 15 minutes of madness on Saturday afternoon 😂
You’ll arrive at your destination.
Have a good one 🙏
Harry
