Seemingly every week some of them.
With captions like:
“This is living”
“My best life”
Or something along those lines.
It got me thinking ..
The day-to-day is also living.
The mundane things we all do each day ..
Chores
Tidying up
Running around after kids
Walking dogs
Work (lol)
It doesn’t make sense to not enjoy 300 days of the year.
Just to enjoy the remaining 65 you spend on holiday.
And honestly?
That’s probably what the influencers do.
Don’t be like them 🤭
But ..
This is sooooooo like getting in shape.

You’re making progress.
Not there at your final destination yet.
But you’re on a roll.
Small wins here & there.
Maybe you hit a small 1.25kg PB on an exercise
Maybe you lose that 100g that tips the scales past a certain point
Maybe it’s a total stranger telling you you look in good shape
It’s never arriving at the ‘final destination’.
.. The fitness equivalent of a 10-day winter break in Dubai.
While it’s -2º back in the UK.
(it does sound tempting 😂)

Enjoy the now.
The process.
Don’t get too fixated on that end goal.
Whatever it may be for you.
Because it’s probably not all it’s cracked up to be when you get there anyway.
