You've probably seen this too ...
You’ve probably heard things like this said:
“There’s no such thing as a bad workout”
“You’ll never regret doing a workout”
Etc
Now off the face of it.
I can see the truth to it.
As an advocate of working out hard & regularly.
But honestly…?
Judging what I’ve seen recently happening on the gym floor.
The people that say this.
Never been to a commercial gym before 😂
Or seen real people training.
>
Bad workouts exist.
I see them every day.
There are plenty of people out there who regret that workout they got seriously injured.
I was watching a bloke on the 45º leg press earlier this week.
Using lots of weight
Minimal range of motion
No control
And locking his knees out pretty damn hard on every rep.
If he carries on like that.
He Will likely injure himself pretty seriously.
If he hasn’t done so already 🙈

I think Covid / Lockdowns / Home workouts
The whole “Just Move” mentality.
Paying little to no attention to technique.
Has shot training quality to bits.
And people, unfortunately, will pay the price for that.
Though injuries.
Pain.
Discomfort.
If not now … then in the future.
>
Treat your workouts with respect.
You can have bad workouts.
You can regret workouts.
So be careful 🙏
